Evaluation Question 4

The purpose of this post is to convey the media strategy that I decided to use for my fourth evaluation question; for this instance, I chose the online animation website "Powtoon" as I could easily create professional and modern animations in the display of the question. However before creating the animation I firstly wrote about 2000 words into Microsoft Word in which I then could easily alter or change and misspellings or to easily edit the sentence. I believe the use of PowToon can highlight the creative aspect in my work and the creativity I wanted to produce to show my evaluation questions in an original way. However, one disadvantage and drawback of using this service is the total time allowed with all slides is only 5 minutes which may hinder my editing skills and cause maybe a repetition in watching the video twice. Furthermore this is one of the best programs and software to use as it was free and offers a huge variety of original art and images that I can easily import to my project.

Advantages and disadvantages in using Sony Vegas

In this blog post I will be discussing and highlighting the advantages and disadvantages in the editing software (Sony Vegas) that we have been using for editing and producing our music video. Advantages: VEGAS Pro has all the features professional editors need to create their video projects. Tools like chroma key, white balance, image stabilization, stereoscopic 3D editing, multicam editing and masking.  Vegas has built-in interactive tutorials that show you how many of the tools work which will aid new editors and creators. A unique tool in this software is the VEGAS Pro Connect iPad app. The purpose of this app allows you to perform basic desktop functions on your tablet. Hyperdermic Needle Theory

The theory states that an intended message is directly received and wholly accepted by the receiver. The model was originally rooted in 1930's behaviourism. The Hypodermic  Theory  suggests that viewers of media content are a passive audience who are powerless to resist the impact of the messages inside the media source. Thus that they do not have any influence on the messages coming out of these media sources; this is a lot like Action Theory, in the way that messages are portrayed and noted by the receiver  of media. In a way it gets injected into audiences, hence why it is called the  hypodermic  needle model. An example of a huge event supporting this model is from the year 1938 whereby people believed there was an alien invasion because the radio version of H.G. Wells "War of the World" was broadcasted across the world.
