Reflection of second shoot
By far, this shooting day was the most productive and well-planned session that we have conducted after school and in lesson time. Due to the past events, we decided to introduce more green screen skills and techniques in our final product, thus impacting the overall professionalism and creative intentions that we aimed for previously.
Prior to our first shooting session; this room was only equipped with one lighting stand and no camera stand; as a result of this we improvised and implemented more light bulbs that would enhance the power of the light and output. The use of this light help create a more professional looking image for our cameras to capture and to easily lighten the green screen from our skin which will later help distinguish the difference for editing in Sony Vegas.
The professional lights helps create a high definition impact to the overall quality of our pictures and videos that we have captured. I was luckily allowed to film on an Iphone 8 which has a very high quality camera which we decided to use for the main camera in our music video. Furthermore, the sound proofing of the green screen room dramatically improves the sound quality by blocking and preventing other sounds entering our video and helping us achieve our intentions of creating a highly professional music video whilst being on a very low budget.
Our main ideas and opinions, and the overall atmosphere needed to be highlighted whilst encouraging the target audience and viewers the work and dedication we have put into the production. Our music video wants to highlight the fun and entertaining side of creating and producing a music video on a low budget. Another factor we wanted to highlight the development in technology due to advanced yet simple editing software such as Sony Vegas and capturing with the Apple Iphone which has a very clear camera.
Great to see the green screen images and lighting - go into a little more depth please as to the set up an dhow it really did impact on your overall ideas and changes after the 1st shoot did not pan out as planned.
