Music & Me - Childhood
'Hey Ya!' by OutKast played a huge role in the development of my childhood, due to being a very popular song when released in 2009 it was highly televised and gained huge publicity due to the vibrant colours and editing in the video, but also the up tempo beat that became very interesting and addictive thus creating a liking to the song when I was younger. However only recently, I discovered that all the characters in the music video are played by the same person and is edited to make himself looking like a band that have been introduced by a old styled TV show host. Finally this song became very close with me as when I was younger I would imitate the finger swaying that the lead singer portrayed in his music video thus adding to the addictiveness of the song.
